Workshop Assistant


Established in 2008 MyAlloys is an alloy wheel specialist business based in Basingstoke. Originally concentrating on alloy wheel refurbishments we are currently under going a major expansion plan to become alloy wheel specialists offering services such as alignment, new wheels and tyres, valve replacements etc.

To keep up with work demands we are now looking for an energetic and enthusiastic new member to join the team.

Summary of Position:-

The main objective of the role will be to fit tyres in a safe and efficient manner, working as part of a small team, but also working on their own taking a great degree of pride in carrying out tasks to an extremely high standard.

To have a flexible approach to tasks and be able to manage their own workload, be an excellent communicator with proven experience of working in a busy environment in an automotive setting.

Examples of the starting Job Role:-

All aspects of working in a tyre bay

o Fitting new wheels and tyres

o Puncture Repairs

o Fitting of TPMS Sensors

o Wheel Alignment

o Updating the computer systems

Candidates must be able to or have:

Held a clean drivers license for a minimum of 1 year

A minimum of 1 years tyre fitting experience

Have great communication skills including both written and spoken English

Deliver first class service and time management

Work on your own and as part of a team with a positive approach and upbeat energetic and professional manner

Hours of work:

42.5 hours per week over 5 days (Mon-Sat, 1 week day off)

30 minute lunch break

Currently close for Bank Holidays and over the Christmas period (deducted from holiday entitlement)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent (6 Month Probationary period applied)

Starting Salary: £21,000 + monthly bonus at entry level, Up to £28,000 + monthly bonus per year dependent on experience.
